Microbial Genetics: Biofuels and Carbon Cycling

POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS available to study the direct conversion of carbon dioxide to fuels and chemicals with microbial electrosynthesis (see http://geobacter.org for details) or to investigate electron exchange mechanisms between members of anaerobic microbial communities involved in terrestrial methane production. Significant expertise in microbial genetics required. Previous experience in working with anaerobic microorganisms desirable.
